I {heart} Stamping Class and Kits!

Monday, January 24th, 2011

My first class for 2011 is here!

Originally, this class was going to be advertised last week, with the class being held on the 27th. However, since that original announcement both my boys and my hubby have been 'kissed' by Miss. Flu and Miss. Strep Throat. Ah! I've been the only one NOT sick. The last week or so has been anything but exciting. With late nights, Dr. visits, and the stress of taking care of my family, the class had to be bumped a week. Thanks for your patience!

If you are in town, and would like to attend the class in person, it will be held on Friday, February 4th at 7 p.m. in my studio. For any amazing friends and blog followers who can't attend the class- I have a kit options available for you! :) Here are a couple photos to peak at followed by all the information you will need to register for the class and or kit.

This post is a long one because it explains both class and kit options. As always, please don't hesitate to contact me directly if you have any questions!

"I {heart} Stamping Class!" and Kit!

A special shout-out to Andrea Walford, (a fellow Stampin' Up! Demonstrator located in Canada) for creating the Flower on the stick and the tag with matching pouch! I've cased those two projects after her originals, making some minor changes to better suit this class.

I {heart} Stamping Class and Kit Includes:

   * 1 Cone Door Hang

   * 1 Gift Tag (located in center of the photo, shows tag outside the pouch and then what  tag looks like inside the pouch)

   * 1 Gift pouch: place the tag inside as shown, or use separately to package a treat

   * 1 Flower On a Stick: complete with an 'i like you' tag

   * 1 Full Size Valentines' Day Card w/envelope- perfect for guys too!

   * 1 Mini Milk Carton Box: great to fill with little treats like M&Ms!

   * 1 3×3" Card w/envelope: can be tucked in the Door Hang or used separately

  That's 7 fun and fabulous Valentine's Day projects!

This class showcases the following techniques:

* Making your own crinkle shred

* Using the Big Shot to cut and emboss your paper

* Fan Folds

* Setting Jumbo Eyelets

* Stamping Matching Envelopes

* Huffing Technique

These techniques are simple and easy to learn!

Class Registration

After registering for the class, you can add a couple of additional items on if you'd like. This allows you to make 2 Flowers on a Stick, or 2 Full size cards, etc. Let me know if you have any questions.

Kit Information:

* Kits may  be purchased by anyone! Whether you are attending the class and want to add on additional projects, or if you would like a kit shipped/delivered to you.

* Kits are available in MANY options. You can purchase the whole class as a kit, or each project by itself!

* All items will be cut, embossed, punched, and scored by me! You will simply need to assemble the projects following the instructions provided.

* Because of Stampin' Up! rules, you will need to use your own stamps to complete the projects your purchase as a kit. For example, I am prohibited from stamping the 'Happy Valentine's Day' stamp on the tag for you. You will need to supply your own stamp, or simply write your message for that particular project. I know that many of my customers have stamps already, so I'm hoping this will not be a huge downer for you!

* To complete your projects at home you will need to supply your own adhesives. I used Stampin' Up! Dimensionals, Sticky Strip, Glue Dots, a tape runner and glue gun.

* Kits being shipped will be sent Priority Mail on Thursday, Feb 3rd. You will have a whole week to make your projects before Valentine's Day!

* Kits being purchased from my local customers will be delivered on Monday, Feb 7th between the hours of 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. You will also have an entire week to work on your projects before the 'big day'! Delivery is free to anyone living from North Salt Lake to Payson. Please contact me to make any other arrangements.
