Quick Halloween Love Notes

Sunday, October 23rd, 2011

It's been a super long time since I've posted a project! Thank you for all those that have inquired if I was still alive! lol. I am. :) I won't bore you with the details, just know it's been a rough couple of months for me and I've missed posting fun projects I've done.

Today I wanted to post a quick and easy project that takes literally minutes to make. If you are a parent with school aged kids, or a grandparent expecting some little spooky visitors within the next week these little 'love notes' are the perfect project to add a little something special to a child's day. I will be adding one to my son's lunch box on Halloween.

Thanks for looking!

Stamp Set: Spooky Bingo Bits (Clear Mount #123946, Wood Mount #123944)

Card Stock: Basic Black (8 1/2" x 11" #121045, 12×12 #124267), Whisper White (8 1/2 x 11" #102316)

Accessories: Use any scraps you have on hand, you will need a stapler and Mini Envelopes (#107309)

Using an 8 1/2 x 11 piece of black card stock, cut a piece measuring 2 3/4" x 5 1/2. Score in the center at 2 3/4" and fold. This creates your base. Your white insert measures 2 1/2" square and the white strip on front for stamping your images measures 1 1/4" x 2 3/4".
